We send items to many Ministries all over the world.
In 2008, God crossed our paths with a missionary that travels to Ukraine. In 2009, we started assisting him with a container to ship each year. The container will have medical equipment, shoes, clothes, mittens, house ware items, medical supplies, etc. Nine pallets of shoes, a hospital bed, 20 sacks of clothing, and various other items were loaded on the container this year, so far.
In October 2010, God provided our ministry with approximately 4,000 baby mittens. We pondered where He was wanting to send these mittens. We prayed for several days for God to cross our paths with ministries that could use these baby mittens. God pressed upon my heart the Indian Reservations, so I started checking. Yes, they needed baby mittens. At the time, I was undergoing several medical problems, so road trip was not feasible for our family. So each ministry that God showed us, we mailed a package filled with Baby Mittens. The packages ranged in size from 100 mittens to 250. We sent out 20 packages some going on the East Coast and others to the West Coast.
In the Spring of 2010, we received a tractor trailer load of shoes. These shoes were in pallets, which made it difficult for us to provide to many ministries, but made it great to be shipped overseas. We were excited to see where God would send them! Then in May 2010, we contacted a homeless ministry in downtown Louisville to assist them with shoes, clothing, and to minister in the camps. We questioned how many pallets they could use of the shoe’s, they only wished to receive 3, but God impressed upon me, we were to leave 10. Two weeks later, the Pastor called, he said you are not going to believe this. You know the extra 7 pallets of shoes you left, I said yes, he proceeded to tell me they went to Kenya, but not only did they receive the shoe’s, but the company gave them .50 cents a pair towards a water well.
